This past month, BeneFACT Consulting Group exhibited as part of the PACKEX 2013 trade show at The Congress Centre in Toronto – a BeneFACT company first!
Over the three days of the show, we took advantage of the opportunity to speak with attendees and fellow exhibitors from all across Canada in the packaging, robotics and food industries, as well as many others. We offered education on the SR&ED tax program and listened to stories of past SR&ED experiences including both big successes and major frustrations with filing.
Along with exhibiting, PACKEX also gave us the opportunity to speak as part of the Innovation Brief Theatre sessions. Jacob Senderski and Christina Trozzo-Albert presented, “How to Get the Most from Government Funding: An Inside Look at SR&ED”, teaching attendees about the basic elements of the program, common myths in the community and how the government changes may affect claims in the future.
Exhibiting at the show allowed us the avenue to reach out to those who may have been curious about SR&ED and to be an informative source to a new group of people we may not have had the chance to meet otherwise.
Mark your calendars! After such a wonderful experience at PACKEX, BeneFACT is ready to do it all again! See you at the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show, Sept 30-Oct 3, 2013!
